AISLING began their arsenal in the year 1998. Founding members Paul Ward (guitar), Adrian Arellano (bass), Rick Murphy (drums), and Luke Wagnon (guitar) teamed to build the foundation. Although vocalist line up changes regularly plagued the group, they kept writing.

"The songs just flow when you have musician's thinking as one mind" says guitarist Paul Ward. Though the writing process was nonstop, the band was not complete. Finally after countless singers, they found Miguel Briones.

AISLING is Miguel Briones (vocals), Paul Ward (guitar), Luke Wagnon (guitar), Adrian Arellano (bass), and Rick Murphy (drums). These five boys create some of the most diverse, dynamically heart felt music.

Influences range from a variety of artists such as Sigur Ros, Aphex Twin, Depeche Mode, and The Dillinger Escape Plan while still maintaining not sounding like any of them. Their experience has already surpassed that of many, sharing the stage with such acts as Sevendust, Suicidal Tendencies, Pitchshifter, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Gravity Kills, L7, Puya, Hatebreed, Caroline Spine, Papa Roach and played along side The Long Beach Dub All Stars on MTV'S Caffeine tour. Also fulfilling childhood dreams by opening for the 80's rock group W.A.S.P. and most recently gracing the stage with bands Dredg, Codeseven, S.T.U.N., and Strata.

"These boys can rock any somnambulist awake and still lay down some funky beats," What's Up Magazine. AISLING continues their ongoing attack into peoples heads by relentlessly touring with an occasional return to their hometown of El Paso, TX.

"Estrella" would be the first official release which showcased the first music written as a band. Following would be several EP's which led up to a venture to Los Angeles, CA in the summer of 2004 to record an EP titled "Enemies Come In Waves" with producer Steve Kravac who has worked with artists Blink 182, Tsunami Bomb, MXPX, and Less Than Jake to name a few.

AISLING will always create music with intense feelings that any person can relate to and good music that will move you. Nothing but energy, emotions, infectious rhythms and orgasmic ear candy for the soul. AISLING (ash-leen), the dream, the vision.the new sound.
