On the heels of an intense continual two years on the road and such phenominal success for an indie, where do u go from there?You take some chances!! For those who dont know, LYLAH is a loud melodic "DEATH POP/GOTH ROCK" band,who are visually the center of attention from lights to makeup and abrasive guitars,so why are they releasing a LIMITED EDITION ACOUSTIC COLLECTION in the form of the forthcoming BROKEN WINGS DIE YOUNG?

"When i was first approached by Billy Townes,CEO of Shade Records, i was hesitant to do an Acoustic CD,because we are a straight up,loud,dark rock band.Scared as to how our songs would translate,but very excited because it would be something special for the fans that have been there for us through the years.Timing is everything,i had just entered a new endorsement deal with BABICZ GUITARS and once i touched that guitar, i knew we had to do this. We wanted to do something different,alot a bands DONT DO these days.. As a musician,you want to evolve,we wanted to challenge ourselves, so for this ONE CD,we stripped down our sound and comsumed ourselves in the intimacy of the project" - Guitarist/Vocalist Norman Matthew
