Welcome to the world of the Sex Pistols Experience, the world's leading
&
only worthwhile tribute show to one of the most influential band's of
all
time.! Four talented musicians brought together through a love of the
Sex
Pistols and their music.and some tough auditions! They spent a long
time
perfecting the look & sound, down to every last detail, making sure
every
live show they play is as dynamic and exciting as the 'real deal'. With
all
the spit & venom of the heady days of the 77' period, blended with a
look
and ability of the seasoned musicians of the reformed band of the 96' &
2003
tours. Re-creating the same electric atmosphere & awesome wall of
sound,
always giving the impression that anything could happen, and always
leaving
the crowds shouting for "More-More..!"
Johnny Forgotten (a London trained actor/singer ) takes to the stage
with
all the manic, man-possessed energy required to leave any audience
spell-bound, with 'stare' & 'stance' down to perfection and an arsenal
of
one-liners to boot. Don't mess with Mr Forgotten, he'll shoot you down
in
flames!
Along with 'Kid Vicious' posing and playing up to the crowd, fighting
for
the attention, but only getting it from 'Nancy Spunked'on', who during
his
'Kid Sings' set might join him on stage at the microphone. He
definatley
does it 'his way', but unlike 'Sid' the 'Kid' can play, and don't get
too
close or that bass might come swinging your way.!?
Steve Clones in his tight leather jeans, trade mark Gibson & an eye for
the
girls, plays, as Steve Diggle of the 'Buzzcocks' said of him " A
crashing
guitar sound Steve Jones would be proud of..!"
The whole thing is driven along relentlessly by the powerhouse that is
the
solid, pounding, drums of 'Paul Crook'. Always late, but never missing
a
beat.! Sat proudly behind his Premier Union Jack drum kit flying the
flag
for the Sex Pistols Experience.
After playing hundreds of live shows since their formation in 2001,
covering
the length & breadth of the U.K, winning over some of the toughest of
critical audiences, and building on the foundations of a solid fan base
at
every gig. 2004 saw the bands reputation spread overseas, with them
heading
over into Europe. Then they cracked the biker/Scooter rally circuit,
playing
in front of over 3,500 people one night.
2004 & 05' saw the recreation of the infamous 1977 Queen Elizabeth boat
party, attracting a sell-out audience & rave reviews in the London &
national press, and a headline slot on SKY News!
The quality of the look-a-like, sound-a-like show gained the attention
of
the BBC television company who hired the boy's (& Nancy) to act as
stand-in
doubles of the Sex Pistols for the documentary 'Blood on the
turntables',
opening the door's then to the film world with SKY's 'Death By Excess'
- the
Sid & Nancy story, using 'Kid Vicious & Nancy Spunked'on' of the Sex
Pistols
Experience in the key roles, (due for release early 06'). Paving the
way
for Ch4 to invite the band for a day of live broadcast 'pampering', in
the
plush surroundings of 'The Salon'! Lately plans were put into place
for
the film version of renowned 'Sid Vicious' biographer 'Alan Parker's'
latest
book 'Vicious -Too Fast To Live’, without even so much as an
audition, the
leading roles going to our own 'Kid & Nancy', with the band ready to
fill-in
as required.
The live show's have to be seen to be believed, appealing to young
&
old(er) alike, even the most ardent of Pistols fan, reluctant to see
their
hero's being portrayed, can usually be seen, 2 or 3 songs in, pogoing
and
bouncing around in the 'mosh-pit', re-living their youth & wishing they
were
20yrs younger!!
So if you missed out on seeing the 'real deal', there is no
alternative,
accept no fakes, this is your chance to say, " I swear I was there..!"
Come
along and witness what is now regarded as one of the world's leading
tribute
bands whilst you still can, before they burn-out as they surely will,
perhaps after their next month long U.S.A tour!!??
It may not be the 'real deal', but it is without doubt the real
'double
act', we all remember the songs, just one classic after another,
Holidays in
the Sun, Pretty Vacant, Bodies, Anarchy in the U.K, and of course the
banned
No1 single 'God Save The Queen'. All delivered, as it should be, raw,
loud &
proud, powerful & dynamic, with the main focus being on having FUN...!
Never trust a Hippy, the Swindle really does continue, who killed
Bambi..??
